Dato’ Pari A/L Subramaniam
Director of Culinary
Dato’ Pari A/L Subramaniam is the Director of Culinary of The Zenith Kuantan. Born and raised in the town of Shah Alam, Selangor, his ambition as a child was to be a businessman. He graduated in Food Preparation and Production Services from PLP Culinary College Melaka.
To maximize my extensive 36 years old background with practical and educational experiences and to assume a pivotal role of Area Executive Chef for an international business, or a Medium sized / international class city centre hotel sand Beach Resort or International Chain Restaurants.
Most recently, as the Chairman of Chef Association East Coast Malaysia and Advisor for Melaka Chef Association, successfully organized Kuantan Pahang Malaysia Asian Culinary Challenge 2013. Thailand, Hong Kong, Philippine and all States of Malaysia showcase a fantastic “Tasty ” competition.
Hosted by the patronage of Tengku Puan Pahang, Princess Tunku Hajjah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Binti Almutawakkil Alallah Sultan Iskandar Al Haj of Pahang to cultivate youth chefs with caliber. Highly adaptable and accomplished in all cuisine types with proven versatility with experience in hotels, independent restaurants and off site catering. Expert in productivity while controlling food and labor costs and flawlessly executing the culinary arts, management, training, standardization, sales and marketing plans and customer relations.
Chef Pari has been with The Zenith Hotels & Resorts for one and a half months now, starting off at The Zenith Kuantan in 2022.
Timothy Ryan Thomas
Executive Chef of Zenith Kuantan
Timothy Ryan Thomas is the Executive Chef of Zenith Cameron. Born and raised in Malacca, he discovered a passion for food at an early age after being inspired by his older brother’s friends who were chefs in a hotel. He was taught to appreciate the hard work that goes into preparing a meal and quickly learned about the importance of local and fresh ingredients.
Chef Thomas began his humble career at the age of 14 working as a kitchen helper in a Chinese restaurant in Malacca. Following this, he continued to polish his culinary skills and established his career in several international five-star hotels including The Dorchester London and Hôtel Plaza Athénée France. He has also served as a personal chef to Prince Jefri Bolkiah at the Royal Brunei Hotel.
Chef Thomas has been with The Zenith Hotels & Resorts for over 3 years now, starting off at The Zenith Kuantan in 2018.
